How do you untangle a ball of different metal necklaces?
My friends are coming over tomorrow for my late birthday party and my mom wanted to take all of my gold, silver, and crystal jewelry and put them in her room until all of my friends leave (that’s what we always do, just in case anyone tries to take anything). This time I wanted to help my mom, so I took all of my necklaces down. There are some gold, silver, crystal, brass, and other metals. Once I was done collecting them (I looped them on my arm), I noticed that everything was a tangled mess. I told my mom (I got one necklace free), and she is extremely angry right now. She said if she can’t untangle them she’ll have to just throw them away. She won’t even let me touch the necklaces or help her, and I was just trying to help her in the first place by getting the necklaces. What do I do?

Toss the up and down in your hand until they loosen up. Then pull them apart slowly so you don’t break any. If they have clasps – undo the clasps so they will be easier to separate.
